I purchased Fisher Price Power Wheels Dune Racer for my 2 1/2 year old when we received it on a friday afternoon he was so excited until I put it together & realized there wasn't a 12V battery in the box. So now I have a little boy thats very upset because he can't ride his new dune racer. We live an hour from town and when I called amazon they wouldn't send me a battery they offered a credit.

What am I suppose to do with this without a battery? We had to call around & then drive an hour to town pay $86.00 for the battery & drive an hour back. (They offered a $60.00 credit) He now is having the best time driving his dune racer around our property. I gave a good rating for the toy not the service I got from amazon.

My soon to be 8 year old son wanted this racer for his birthday. First, let me just say that even though other retail stores in town had the same exact racer - no one was able to beat Amazon on the price. Also, Fisher Price Power Wheels Dune Racer shipped within a day and I even had early delivery, which was unexpected. The huge box this toy comes in was a little daunting at first, but the instructions are very easy to understand and I was able to put this together by myself in only about 2 hours, which probably could have been shorter if I would have moved a little faster.

Nevertheless, once it was put together, my son loved it! My 9 and 10 year old boys love Fisher Price Power Wheels Dune Racer too!! Of course, there is no way they can all ride in the racer together, but no matter, it's a great racer. I wish I would have ordered this when my boys were a little younger, I think they would have enjoyed being able to ride together. Overall, I really like this toy and I would definitely recommend it for anyone considering a Power Wheels Ride On toy.
